Some thoughts about We Are Robin #8

The Jokers are coming to Gotham.

Duke is still looking for his parents despite of not being part of the Robins anymore. However, he will soon realize that he needs to take matters at hand due that a kid is about to start a movement on his own.

This issue marks the beginning of a new story and is a promising one so far.

Lee Bermejo focuses on the ramifications of the previous arc by making Duke try to find his parents as himself and not as part of the Robin movement. Is an interesting perspective since it shows that Duke has other skills besides of being a crime fighter.

However, the best aspect of the chapter is the rise of a new villain. The Joker is playing a huge influence in him and it was pretty compelling to see the contrast between Duke and him as well as their relationships with their respective parents.

Jorge Corona handles the artwork and is pretty good looking with expressive characters and a distinctive style.

Entertaining issue. Glad to see this series back on track.
