Deathstroke will need to risk his life for the sake of his daughter.
Rose is still missing and Slade is doing his best to try to save her but to do so, he will need to face some of most dangerous organizations in the world: Lexcorp.
This issue marks the beginning of James Bonny, who was the co-writer for the last few issues of the series along with Tony Daniel, going solo. How does it fares?
Eh, is kind of a mixed bag.
There are some interesting idea being presented here actually like how Slade has to face characters like Mercy Graves and A.I. of Lex Luthor possessing one of his suits. These kind of challenges for the character actually make sense and they're executed decently for the most part.
On the other hand, Slade's voice is still not really accurate. Bonny seems to be using the characterization that Daniel gave him presenting the protagonist as a common fratboy instead of a strategist. Plus, I don't think that Rose should be this defenseless since she's in fact a quite competent fighter.
Tyler Kirkham handles the artwork and is pretty solid. The action scenes are quite strong and the characters are good looking.
I don't know if I can recommend this. Is better than when Daniel was handling the book but not by much, maybe it will get better in the future.
