Some thoughts about Secret Six #10

The Secret Six will have to face the end of the world and the death of one of their own.

Black Alice is ready to sacrifice herself to save the world from a threat that not even Superman might be able to stop but will that be actually enough.

Once again, this was a bit of a mixed bag.

Gail Simone concludes this storyarc with a chapter that brings Superman to the story and fortunately he's portrayed quite on-point as you would expect. In fact, all of the characters are portrayed accurately based on their appearances in the title while others show a decent depiction.

The problem continues to be the same though. It seems like Simone wanted to include a lot of things in this story and many of them don't work that way, a lot of the characters who appeared here didn't have a clear purpose and their cameos ended-up being worthless in that regard. The conclusion also ends-up being a bit too quick and unsatisfying.

Dale Eaglesham and Tom Derenick share art duties and their work is pretty good looking and consistent fortunately.

Other than that, I didn't feel this arc at all. Hope the next one is better.
