Some thoughts about Martian Manhunter #8

The Martian Manhunters will need to save both worlds.

Alicia managed to survive being captured by J'onn's race and now all of them will have to fight against the whole planet.

It's official, I'm not feeling this.

There's something about the story that Rob Williams is creating that I don't feel compelling at all. It might be because of the style that is so predominant that sometimes the plot suffers because of it. The dialogue is quite pompous at times with the characters rarely talking like people and I'm not talking about the Martians, I'm talking about the humans or the ones who used to be humans.

The characterization is okay and some of them present some interesting detail but there's no depth in the exploration of their personalities, there are some quirks here and there but aside from that very little.

Eddy Barrows continues in art duties and his work is still pretty solid with character expressions and action scenes.

Other than that, I really can't recommend this unless you're okay with overly pretentious works.
