The Robin War is over and there will be consequences.
Damian has succumbed to the influence of the Court of Owls and the rest of the movement is falling one by one. Now, if Dick Grayson wants to stop all of this he will need to make his own sacrifice.
Well, I suppose I should have read all the previous tie-ins right? Because I have no idea how things end-up this way.
Tom King brings the final chapter of this crossover by revealing that Damian has become part of the Court of Owls and Lincoln March is alive. For one, I'm pretty sure that March is back because he was an interesting enough character and I'm assuming that he was reintroduced in a previous chapter of the event. Although I'm hoping that Damian wasn't revealed just here that he has changed bands because it would be a pretty cluncky development.
The rest of the presentations works nicely enough but the story itself is not particularly impressive and the ramificactions of this will mostly be see in Grayson.
Oh and another thing:
Let's play the drinking game people!
Whenever someone in the story says "I am Robin" take a drink. You might not be able to survive the course of the issue.
Yeah, once again, the repetition of certain words and phrases in King's work is still present and it has become pretty predictable at this point to the point that the supposed effect this words have is not as strong as it should.
Khary Randolph, Alvaro Martinez, Carmine Giandomenico, Steve Pugh and Scott McDaniel share the pencils for this issue and the different artists make the chapter a bit inconsistent since a lot of them have different styles that clash with one another.
Not terrible but not impressive. Just like I've felt during most of this event.
