The Hawkeyes' present and future continue to clash.
Both Clint and Kate are currently taking separate roads but they will soon realize that if they want to change their future they will need to fix their relationship first.
It's amazing how consistently good this series is.
Jeff Lemire delivers a new chapter where he focuses mostly on character work and how Clint relate to the people closest to him, namely Kate and his brother Barn. The way how both Clint and Kate have influenced each other's life is something quite interesting to see (although I have to admit that I'm getting a bit tired about how demonized Clint is getting) and their future is the consequence of their current acts.
The most surprising aspect here is the dynamic between Clint and his brother. As you would remember at the end of Matt Fraction's run, Barn ran away with their money but it turns out that none of that really matters, they're still brothers. This also plays with the long-term planning that Lemire has been using since the beginning of his work with the character due that Barn has been an important part from both the past volume and this one.
Also, the future continues to develope based on what's happening right now in the story which is pretty logical.
Ramon Perez continues his work in this series and his ability to change styles from present and future segments is still admirable.
Great issue, you can't miss this title people.
