Some thoughts about Teen Titans #16

The Teen Titans will lose members once again.

After the multiple battles they had to deal with, the team will be forced to see some of their friends leave the team. What's left for them?

Boooooy, this was an underwhelming end of a run.

As I mentioned in the past, Will Pfeifer's work in the series actually started with great potential due to the character dynamics and creative ideas but it ultimately dwelved in stories with no proper conclusions, characters acting in awkward manners and directions that were simply derivative and mediocre. In many ways similar to what happened with Scott Lobdell.

This issue is no different. Some of the members from the team leave with no proper build-up to it and some of the previous plot-points were left without explanation. What happened to Manchester Black? How did Kid Flash escape from his prison and returned to this time? Several questions without a proper answer.

Miguel Mendonca handles the artwork and he does a decent job at depicting the characters and action but is not really distinctive.

Yeah, this is not worth checking out as a whole. Hoping for the better for the next creative team.
