Val, Thomas, Helena, Kara and Lois will need to save a group of scientists from an infection that could be expanded into the rest of the planet. Can they handle such predicament?
This issue marks the beginning of the collaboration between Tom Taylor and Marguerite Bennett on Earth 2, do they deliver something new to the table?
Well, I'm sad to say that not really.
Apparently Bennett's arrival has brought a bit more of personal stories considering that this issue is mostly focused on these characters in particular and the relationship between them. It's a solid job and it offers new insights about some of the members from the cast despite of a few awkward lines.
The problem is that I don't particularly care about any of them. I was assuming that after the whole war against the evil Superman, the stories were going to focusing on the original cast like Alan Scott, Jay Garrick and Kendra Muñoz since it was teased that was going to happen by some of the members from the creative team but apparently that's not the case.
Andy Smith, Scott Hanna and Marcus To are on art duties and all of them are able to keep a consistent style over the course of story. Not a great look but a decent one.
Yeah, I'm pretty indifferent about this issue. There's nothing that made me care about it.
