After their last escape, the group of young New Gods will be forced to interact with the rest of the world despite of how dangerous that might end-up being. However, things will get worse once that they get involved into the war between their race and the Lantern Corps.
Batcow is in this issue so that was enough to get my attention.
There are only a few scenes about her but both Dan Didio and Keith Giffen manage to make a charming and adorable segment between the Forever People and her. It was the best part of the issue for me.
The rest of the story progresses satisfactorily and I suppose it was obvious that this title was going to be connected to the events of Godhead so hopefully the creators will be able to make a nice encounter.
Keith Giffen is back on pencils and his work might look a bit unpolished this time but the storytelling techniques are still on-point.
Fun issue despite of some aspects. Still enjoyed it.
