Some thoughts about Green Lantern: New Guardians #35

The power of the White Lantern is too much to handle it.

Despite of what happened over the course of his travels and his best efforts, Kyle knows that he won't be able to control what he became after he crossed the Source Wall. The Guardians of the Universe also realize that and he will need to go back to their old methods.

The next chapter of Godhead and it might be one of the strongest yet.

Justin Jordan utilizes this crossover to focus on yet another interesting tale focusing on character development and story progression. Several of the plot-point he has been introducing during the course of his run are being touched here and it makes a lot of sense how everything connects.

The best aspects however, remain on Kyle's characterization and how the powers he has obtained have changed him, we especially see a scene about one of his loved ones that fans might be able to recognize. The relationship between Carol him is also nicely depicted.

If I have a complaint though, it would be the Guardians' actions. I suppose they're just like the old ones.

Brad Walker is back on pencils and his work remains one of the strongest factors of this book with his ability to draw detailed expressions and scenarios as well as his wonderful storytelling skills.

Great issue. I can't recommend this series enough.
