Some thoughts about Nightwing #2

Can Nightwing trust his new partner?

Raptor believes that he can make Dick better in ways that no even Batman can but some of his methods might make Dick not sure of it.

This series continues and continues to be as entertaining as usual.

Tim Seeley delivers a new chapter where he focuses on the dynamic between Nightwing and the new character Raptor. The characterization is pretty good with the interactions between the two protagonists being one of the strongest aspects of it. The differences between Raptor and Dick as well as Raptor and Batman are quickly explained and they contrasts perfectly with Dick's own beliefs.

Not only that but there are some interesting themes going on here with the Bat "brand" being explored in ways that might remind you of Batman Incorporated and compelling dilemmas that the protagonist will have to face if he wants to continue this route.

Javier Fernandez remains in art duties and his work is still not my favorite in terms of style but the storytelling is quite good being able to depict the script perfectly.

Quite enjoyable, still one of my favorite reads.
