Some thoughts about Bloodlines #5

The disease keeps getting worse and worse.

Eddie and his friends are trapped along with Duncan and they don't know if they can trust him but they will need to start working together once that another person starts using his powers for personal gain.

Still liking this one quite a bit.

J.T. Krul delivers a new chapter where he, as usual, focuses on the different members of the cast and their interactions with one another. Krul does a pretty solid job at developing that backgrounds and personalities of each one of them while creatine a compelling dynamic for the group. The story makes you invested in these characters and their sake.

The plot continues to progress satisfactorily with a new metahuman appearing and using his abilities in dangerous ways. This creates an interesting conflict for the protagonists which becomes even better once that they discover the cause of the people gaining powers.

V. Ken Marion remains in art duties and his work is still quite solid with expressive characters and vibrant fight scenes.

Pretty nice read. Hoping for a good conclusion in the final issue.
