Constantine will have to deal with the ramifications of his actions once again.
An exorcist called Georgiana Snow who is connected to John's past will need to help him to try to stop a monster from causing more deaths. However, this will remind John that he's still completely alone.
Well, this is still an interesting enough story so far.
Ming Doyle and James Tynion IV deliver yet another one-and-done story that is connected to the main plot that many people are familiar with, about how Constantine is always causing damage to the people who care for him to get what he wants. It has been done in the past several times including the previous series but it's nicely executed at the very least.
There's some decent amount of development in terms of mythos as well as characterization and there are some solid additions to the cast. The way how John's past is explored is also interesting.
Ming Doyle and Vanessa Del Rey handle the pencils here and their work is pretty beautiful with an interesting style that fits the book and also contains some solid storytelling.
And that's how I would call this book, solid. It's still not impressive and I wish it would explore more different aspects but it works well-enough so far.
