Some thoughts about Doctor Fate #3

Khalid will need to control his abilities before is too late.

Despite that his father was badly injured, Khalid will have no time to stay with him due to forces are creating a flooding in his city and he will need to use the Helmet of Fate appropriately if he wants to save everyone.

Once again, this was a pretty enjoyable read.

Paul Levitz continues to surprise with a quite charming story where he focuses on the everyman Khalid who is dealing with events that are out of his reach but still needs to face them for the benefit of the rest. This presents Khalid as a pretty understandable and relatable character, not quite likable though since there are certain aspects from his personality I don't like as his overall dull attitude but is still an interesting portrayal.

The Helmet of Fate's skills and background are also nicely explored with some interesting developments about where the plot is going.

Sonny Liew is still working on art and again, he represents one of the best aspects from this book thanks to his distinctive style and strong storytelling.

Satsifying issue I would say. Good work as a whole.
