The members from the Justice League are changing at the worst time possible.
Batman has gained all the knowledge in the universe thanks to Mobius' chair while Diana is being forced to fight against the attack of both Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor. Things could get worse however, once that Luthor is forced to take a drastic action to save Superman.
The event Darkseid War continues and it fortunately still can offer great moments.
Geoff Johns manages to develope the world Apokolips by exploring the kind of beings that reside there including Kalibak who is receiving one of his most interesting portrayals yet.
Speaking of portrayals, most of the cast receive a pretty good moment in the spotlight. Especially Diana who continues to receive more attention than ever before in this title by exploring the mythos that surround her birth and culture. The interaction between the characters is also quite enjoyable which is particularly clear once that you see the conversations between Luthor and Superman.
And that last page is certainly interesting.
Jason Fabok delivers one of his strongest works in pencils yet with beautiful character models and great action scenes that keep expanding the scope of the event.
Excellent issue, this storyline remains highly entertaining.
