Is not easy to make a living in Riverdale, at least not for Archie.
After Betty and him broke, Archie has been focusing on trying to get a job but unfortunately most of them are not for him. However, despite that his last one might also be a disaster, it might help him to find what he was looking for.
I have been anticipating this issue for a while and it certainly delivered what I was hoping for.
Mark Waid developes a new chapter where he focuses on how Archie is trying to get some income and how he sucks at it. The different scenes from the different jobs that he has been hired for are quite funny and manage to tell a lot about the character as well as how the rest of the cast connects to him.
Speaking of the supporting cast, they also receive good moments, especially Jughead and Betty whose personalities continue to be explored in a pretty interesting way. Plus, we see the first glance of a character that people have been waiting for.
About the art, Fiona Staples makes the story even better thanks to the storytelling. In many instances the artwork alone tells everything that you need to know about what's happening and it works wonderfully to see the events in the background.
Another successful chapter, still invested in this reboot.
