Members from the team are being rapidly defeated while some of them have been brainwashed to follow the orders of the terrorists groups. Now, everything might be lost.
How did things get to this point?
I'm serious, a team that is getting their own heavily hyped movie is currently having one of the blandest books on the stands. What Sean Ryan is doing doesn't even classify as bad, is just the kind of story that someone thought in 5 minutes and for some reason was able to get approved by editors and printed.
The characters are just caricatures of themselves, they're incredibly incompetent. Amanda Waller is a non-entity and easily losing control of the team, Harley Quinn is just an idiot who is looking for a fight, Black Manta has been rapidly brainwashed, The Reverse-Flash is just an idiot, Deadshot CAN'T FRIKKING SHOOT!
Oh and about the villains, they're so generic that you wouldn't even believe it. They're just some terrorist groups but without any kind of distinctive aspects between them.
About the plot, is it going somewhere? Who knows?
Philippe Briones is still on art duties and his work can actually be decent with solid expressions and action but is not particularly impressive.
Yeah, just skip this, especially if you're a fan of this team.
