Harley Quinn and Power Girl will have to face the insanity of this world.
Vartox is venerated in this society and the only thing they want is him to return. However, it will prove to be more difficult than anticipated once that they discover that Vartos has become an evil being willing to destroy everything in his part.
I'm seriously loving the different themes that are being used here.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner deliver a new chapter where they continue to explore that world of Vartox while at the same time playing with all the ideas that he represent. This is a pretty sex-driven civilization but most of their people take it as something completely normal which present a lot of opportunities for comedy.
Speaking of comedy, this was pretty hilarious, all the jokes worked wonderfully depending of the scenario. This being a Harley Quinn book of course it needed to have an hallucination section and the conversation between Power Girl and Vartox about who had the most objectifying costume was quite entertaining.
Art duties are shared by Stephane Roux, Moritat and Elliot Fernandez, their respective styles work nicely for their different sections while still looking consistent for the overall comedic tone of the book.
Pretty fun issue, really need to see more of this.
