Who or what is the Martian Manhunter?
J'onn J'onnz was sent to Earth with the only purpose of becoming a weapon for his race but now, different forces will start to awake to stop the Martian invasion.
Okay, this issue was certainly an improvement over the previous one.
Rob Williams continues his mistery story about the true nature of J'onn J'onnz as well as what has been happening to him since he arrived here. The ideas are quite interesting by themselves due that they present an interesting look in how the Martians behave as well as other abilities that are quite surprising and most of those surprises come from J'onn himself.
The presentation is pretty solid and the style is certainly distinctive but unfortunately this can make the dialogue a bit awkward at times due that some of the characters speak in kinda unnatural ways. Still, the way how the story unfolds compensate for this.
Eddy Barrows remains in charge of the pencils and this could be one of his strongest works due that he's able to depict the most bizarre perfectly while giving them a pretty polished and distinctive look.
Compelling chapter overall, it's certainly intriguig at the very least.
