The Green Lanterns are lost in time and this could mean their death.
John Stewart and his group have arrived to a time where the old universe and Relic existed and if they want to survive, John will be forced to take some desperate decisions.
Okay, this story continues and while I'm still not impressed, at least this wasn't as dull as previous chapters.
Cullen Bunn delivers a new installment where he developes a bit of the aspects from the old universe like Relic and Light Pirates, the chapter contains a decent amount of worldbuilding from what it was already established, is not something particularly deep but at least it offers more than in past issues.
There's also some character development here inclusing some strange decisions that seem out of character for John. At one point I was saying to myself "this is what Guy Gardner would do, not John" and fortunately Bunn also realized that and is able to adress it which at least makes this direction self-aware. Although I still don't like the marine for route for John, is pretty derivative.
Jesus Saiz and Cliff Richards share the pencils here and Saiz' work remains as the strongest thanks to his beautiful style, Richards' work is also good but seems a bit out of place.
Better yes, but still not quite there to call it great.
