The Superman from the Kingdom Come universe has arrived and Kon will have no other choice but face him if he wants his city to survive. However, he will soon realize that there are others ways to succeed without winning.
Well, this delivered a nice development.
Fabian Nicieza brings the conclusion of his story in this miniseries by focusing on the different abilities that this version of Superboy has including his telekinesis which is quite well implemented and manages to give Kon an advantage over his opponents.
The strongest aspect however, is the characterization. The author concentrates on what makes this particular incarnation of Kon-El the man he is and creates pretty good character progression for him as well as a nice sense of closure.
Karl Moline is on art duties and his cartoony and expressive style certainly gets the story perfectly.
Pretty good issue, a quite enjoyable read.
