Lois is in danger and nothing will stop Clark from keeping her safe.
The superheroes from the Flashpoint universe are currently attacking Superman but there are even bigger concerns since Lois is in labor and their child need to be saved no matter what.
Oh boy, this was probably one of the best send-off for this version of the character.
Dan Jurgens delivers the conclusion of his story by demonstrating perfectly the kind of character that the post-COIE, pre-Flashpoint Superman was. The characterization is spot-on by exemplifying how human Clark actually is in comparison to the versions that came before and after him.
The rest of the cast are also solidly portrayed with lot of scenes that pay respect to their previous stories. Plus, the writer creates some really charming last pages that showcase the relationship between Lois and Clark and work wonderfully.
This time Jurgens is also in charge of art duties and his style really fits this kind of story while delivering good-looking characters and heart-warming scenes.
Great issue and way to say goodbye to these characters.
