Some thoughts about Convergence: Titans #2

Lian is back and Roy is decided to do whatever it takes to keep her safe.

The Extremists are currently winning the battle against The Titans and their leader is manipulating Roy to betray his friends if he wants to see Lian again, what will his decision be?

Welp, didn't really feel this one.

The previous chapter was solid with Fabian Nicieza creating some logical steps of development for Roy's character. However, in this one I feel like he just kinda regressed, not because he betrays his friends or anything but because I thought this was going to make him get over the tragedy of the loss of his daughter.

I'm getting a bit realistic here but I would have wished that this would have taught Roy how to keep leaving without Lian and became a better man despite of it but nope! We just got another version of her from a different reality and all is fine and dandy.

The action and pacing are not so good either with the story jumping a few times and not escalating adequately. This might be due to the artwork, Ron Wagner's pencils are okay but sometimes they can look kinda rushed and chaotic.

I'm a bit disappointed here sadly, was hoping for something better.
