Some thoughts about Convergence: Suicide Squad #2

The Suicide Squad's final mission has arrived.

Amanda Waller is decided to win this battle no matter what despite that their chances of survival are minimal. However, once that she realizes that there's a traitor among her ranks, she will have to use one of her lasts resources to succeed.

Conclusion of this miniseries and I would say is a satisfying one.

Frank Tieri delivers the final chapter of this little story by focusing on what made the original Suicide Squad so special and developing all the characters the way you would expect. All the members from the cast receive a good moment and it definitely follows the classic style of the old book.

The best characterization belongs to Amanda Waller though since she gets the strongest scenes and a quite on-point portrayal. Not to mention a pretty good resolution.

Tom Mandrake remains in art duties and his work is still really good-looking with a dark style, expressive characters and precise storytelling.

Excellent issue and a nice send-off for this team.
