Brainiac has survived the different crisis that have affected the multiverse over the course of its history. However, now he will fight for the survival of several ones, especially one that lost everything.
Okay, this was both overly complicated and simplistic at the same time.
It seems like the Brainiac who has been behind this whole deal was an original one who existed since the beginning of the multiverse and has experimented every crisis. The problem is that the way such events are told is really convoluted and doesn't really makes sense considering how the premise of this story, it doesn't have anything to do with it.
Plus, the way they save the idea is once again, pretty easy. The heroes simply win and they don't even present a satisfying battle. I will say this though, it was good to see the explanation about some worlds have evolved which creates the possibility of both old and new versions coexisting.
The art is pretty good looking for the most part but the tone has gotten pretty repetitive at this point.
Really, I feel like this main story has been worthless and mostly a vehicle for the new Earth 2 series. Shame.
