Some thoughts about Sixpack/Dogwelder: Hard-Travelin' Heroz #4

What is the secret history behind Dogwelder?

Sixpack and the rest have been trying to help his friend to understand the nature of his abilities but they will realize soon that is all for nothing.

Mythology. About. Dog. Frikking. Welder!

Love it.

Garth Ennis has deliver yet another hilarious issue by taking seriously a character that was initially created just as a joke. Well, not exactly "seriously" since is pretty self-aware about the silliness of the concept which explores all the Dogwelders that have existed over the course of the years including the origin of the first one which is simply hysterical.

The usual jokes are also hits which are concentrated on the expected toilet humour and 4th wall breaking lines like Sixpack complaining about how he was supposed to be the protagonist but instead everything has been about Dogwelder so far.

Russ Braun remains in charge of the pencils and his work is still able to depict the comedic script perfectly thanks to his expressive characters and fun tone.

Another immensily enjoyable chapter. This series can't do wrong.
