Some thoughts about Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #41

The greatest Autobot of all time has just passed away, what better time to celebrate?

The news of Thunderclash's death have been announced everywhere including the Lost Light where almost every member of the crew decides to reunite with his ship and maybe learn more about his fate.

Despite of being an issue mostly concentrated on someone's death, this might be one of the most entertaining chapters from this series yet.

James Roberts focuses on a character in particular who left quite the impression the first time he appeared, Thunderclash. However, his presence is mostly felt due to the rest of the cast due that they will react in different ways and in Rodimus' case, quite hilariously.

Nonetheless, the installment is also concentrated on character dynamics and how the members from the Lost Light interact with the members from the Vis Vitalis. The main cast have great conversations with one another and most of them are not about the funeral itself but about the party they're currently having. It was especially nice to see Nautica's interactions with the recently introduced Firestar.

And of course, things are about to get complicated and dangerous as you might expect.

Alex Milne returns to art duties and his work is still quite beautiful thanks to his cartoony style that is able to capture every scene perfectly.

Excellent issue and one of my favorites.
