Things are about to get even more complicated in Loki's world.
After almost being destroyed by a future version of himself, Loki will also have to deal with the fact that a different reality is crashing into his own. Meanwhile, the Gods of Asgard will need to face King Loki no matter if that means their own destruction.
Tie-in or not, this issue was great.
Al Ewing continues his work in this series with a chapter that kinda utilizes the Secret Wars crossover but is not the main focus. In fact the author mostly deals with the ramifications of previous entries and just connects it to the current event which is something I'm pretty thankful for.
Also, the story concentrates on the Gods of Asgard and how they handle the menace of King Loki. The stakes are pretty high right now but the tale still managed to get a few laughs from me, mostly due to the last page which is both awesome and hilarious.
Lee Garbett keeps delivering a great work thanks to the beautiful and expressive characters he creates as well as the great layouts.
Excellent installment and probably one of the best things that are related to Secret Wars.
