Starscream continues to increase his control over the different combiner teams and now he has managed to create yet another one. Now, if Optimus and Prowl want to stop him they will need to use a desperate measure.
This might have been the best chapter from this entire crossover.
John Barber arrives with the penultmate segment of this story and creates a great justification for all the previous events and character actions. The author manages to give an interesting reason why Prowl has been acting the why he did all this time and it really makes sense all things considered.
Not only that but Barber also uses previous continuity to connect the different visions that Ironhide, Mirage and Sunstreaker have been sharing while also developing some sense of closure for that time in their lives. The characterization is pretty logical.
Speaking of such connection, it becomes even stronger at the end if you understand how this story works.
Livio Ramondelli remains in art duties and his work is still pretty solid with a dark style that makes every scene quite strong.
Successful issue, can't wait to see the ending.
