Superman and Wonder Woman realize that if they want to defeat both Zod and Faora they will need to use every advantage they can find and so they will search the help of Hephaestus. Unfortunately, he's not the only member of Diana's family who wil play an important role in this battle and it could mean the death for her and Clark.
The conclusion of the first storyline from this series has finally arrived and I must say it delivered every expectation that I had and then some.
Since issue 1, Charles Soule has demonstrated a great skill at portraying both protagonists and explore what makes them different from each other and this issue is no different. However, this time he also exploits both of their universes in quite logical ways to implement in the stories, the battle between the two couples was a great example of this, what a great way to use Wonder Woman's mythos.
Plus, the last few pages of this issue concentrate in both having to work together perfectly to save their lives which was also greatly executed. Oh, and that last pages was quite a shock.
Tony Daniel keeps delivering the ideal work for this series. Everything looks great in scale, bombastic, energetic and simply beautiful to look at.
Excellent conclusion and story, Charles Soule has turned the series into a must own for any fan of these characters.
