Recommendations from Comixology's Green Arrow Sale

Yet another Comixology sale, but this time is based on my favorite character (thank God that I already own most of these issues, the money!). Anyway, here are some recommendations as usual:
  • More Fun Comics #73: First appearance of Green Arrow, important for any fan of the character.
  • Green Arrow: Year One: This series is one of the best reinterpretations of Green Arrow's origin before the current series greatly written by Andy Diggle and wonderfully drawn by Jock. You need it.
  • New 52 Green Arrow: I guess you could get the first three issues written by J.T. Krul to see how the series started and the first half of Ann Nocenti's work since that was actually interesting but you know where the real meat is.
  • Jeff Lemire/Andrea Sorrentino's Green Arrow: Yeah, I'm separating because this is simply too good. Start with issue 17 from the New 52 series and you will be ready to love it.
  • Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters: Mike Grell's realistic take on the character starts here and he added some really important myths to the character. Sadly, first issues of his proper run are not present here.
  • Suicide Squad: I'm surprised that this is even here but it's a pleasent surprise. This series written by John Ostrander is a classic and created one of the best DC franchises.
  • Deadshot Vol. 1: Also written by Ostrander, this series explores one of the Suicide Squad's most popular characters, Deadshot and I can assure you that nobody has done a better job at writing him than Ostrander.
  • Deadshot Vol. 2: Despite of my previous statement, I still recommend this miniseries written by Christos N. Gage since it was a great sequel to the themes that Ostrander introduced in the previous volume.
What are you waiting for, go get them.
