Things go from bad to worse for Archie.
After barely escaping the zombie invasion lead by Jughead, Archie immediately went to his house to try to save his loved ones, unfortunately not all of them will get out of there alive.
I said it before and I say it again, I almost feel bad for reading this series but I will continue to do so because it's great. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa continues to deliver one of the most engaging tales ever not only focusing on the Archie universe but also in the zombie genre as a whole.
Starting with one of the most heartbreaking and best executed scenes created in a zombie story involving Archie and his dog (which almost made me cry), the plot focus in the complete disaster of the horror they're currently facing and continues to show terrifying moment agter terrifying moment and makes you realize that there's probably no escape from this.
Francesco Francavilla is one of the most important aspects of this series of course. He creates a horrific atmosphere that automatically invest you in this world and every scene is depicted in a powerful way.
This is another great issue of one of the best zombie stories currently. I just wish it would be released more frequently.
