Harley will try to help someone, of course it's going to go wrong.
After hearing the sad story of an old woman who is suffering due to the being abandoned on a nursing home by her own family, Harley decides to teach such family a good lesson even if she has to kill them. Still, the old woman might not be the most important people Harley should try to help.
Once again, Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner brings a hilarious story that goes crazy pretty quickly.
We see how Harley is dealing with with her profession as a therapist on the nursing home and how she actually developes a conscience due to the confession of an old lady, but just like in previous issues she deals with the problem in a not so subtle way.
They parody pretty much everything here, from old people, to soccer moms to disfunctional families, etc. but it's all in good fun and you can't help but laugh at the outcome. Plus, Harley's lack of attention to detail ends up being adressed in a really comical way at the end.
This is a perfect example of an one-and-done issue, an entertaining tale packed with content while also playing with important plot-points from the ongoing story like the mystery of the person who wants Harley dead. It's quite satisfying.
Stephane Roux provides the pencils this time and his work is simply stunning. His characters look beautiful, especially the female ones and his storytelling techniques are pretty refined to boot.
Another winner issue from this creative team, might be the best I have read this week so far.
