Some thoughts about Silver Surfer #1

The adventures of the Silver Surfer are about to get even more cosmic than ever.

Dawn is a girl who never wanted to leave her home in Anchor Bay, not even if her twin sister is the one who goes in adventures around the world but now she will find herself in a place far ahead from her town in outer space along with the other being who was summoned there, Silver Surfer.

The first issue of this new ongoing title, Silver Surfer had several series and miniseries in the past and this time is handled by the creative team of Dan Slott and Mike Allred, I'm mentioning them both because I feel like they equally contribute to the quality of this story.

Slott's story is quite energetic and creative that focuses in both the cosmic aspects of the main character as well as the normal life settings where Dawn resides, it's a pretty nice contrast between both lifestyles and they're presented in really interesting ways.

However, this story wouldn't be as good without Mike Allred's pencils. He's able to inject a great amount of ideas and style that gives this title its own personality and it's quite different from what we're used to see in other titles. The amount of detail that he's able to deliver in each page is is simply amazing.

This was a quite good first issue that delivers exactly what it promises, a great adventure of cosmic scale.
