Batman has finally found Nightwing but that doesn't mean that he will able save him.
Everything has come to this, Lex Luthor and his Injustice League against the Crime Syndicate face to face, which one lives and which one dies will get decided in this final battle. However, there's a bigger matter at hand here, the identity of the prisoner of the Crime Syndicate has been revealed and the result it's not going to be positive for anyone.
All right, we have finally got what we were asking for! After months of waiting for the big revelations to happen, Geoff Johns has delivered most of them in this issue.
I'm not kidding, in this chapter we get the ultimate showdown between the Injustice League and the Crime Syndicate that has been teased since the beginning of this event and I must say that we receive some pretty interesting answers about which classic villain would win in a battle against the different analogue versions of the classic Justice League heroes and it's all executed perfectly.
The characterization is still top-notch. Johns demonstrater a great skill to portray all these distinct antagonists but you can see that he has an special affection for both Lex Luthor and Captain Cold, each one of the segments where they appear they deliver either an excellent line or a big moment.
About the prisoner's indentity, let's just say that some of our assumptions were correct. About Nightwing's fate? You will have to see for yourself but I can assure you that it will keep you in suspense.
Even David Finch delivers a much better work in the art front, everything looks much more polished and detailed and the kind of output that this series should have received since the beginning.
Best issue from this miniseries. Everything I wanted was delivered.
