Some thoughts about Justice League Dark #29

To save the team, Zatanna will have to take a different role from which she used to have.

John Constantine can no longer be trusted, he has demonstrated that he only cares about himself and so the Justice League Dark will need a new person who is able to guide them into a new direction.

The conclusion from the Blight crossover is finally here and while I thought that this story went for way too long, this was still a good ending for it.

J.M. DeMatteis focuses mostly on two characters in this issue, Constantine and Zatanna and how their relatioship has been defining them and making them go in different routes while emphasizing bothe their strong and weak points. I was a nice exploration of character that finally gives us a less than perfect Constantine and a much more capable Zatanna. I must say this is an interesting new development for the team.

Vicente Cifuentes is in charge of the artwork here and it's quite good actually, pretty similar in tone to what Mikel Janin was doing and equally as expressive.

Good conclusion as I mentioned and I'm actually intrigued about the future of this title.
