How would a life with Catwoman be?
Batman has known Selina Kyle for most of his career and now he will realize that he just can't go on without her.
NO WAY! An actual good story!
Tom King offers an one-and-done and basically out of continuity installment where he focuses on the relationship between Batman and Catwoman without the usual terrible dialogue that he implements. Long gone are the annoying "Bat, Cat" moments and King instead concentrates on truly emotional scenes that develop the connection between the two based on their backgrounds and history. Is really well-executed and pretty immersive.
Not only that but there's also a segment based on a possible future where we see the ramifications of their whole life together and is even better than the first part by creating touching scenes about the inevitable fate of Batman.
Lee Weeks and Michael Lark share art duties in the past and future segments respectively and both do a magnificent job thanks to their wonderful storytelling skills.
Quite enjoyable, very surprised.
