Can the New Superman save his teacher?
I-Ching has disappeared and has been replaced by a completely new being called All-Yang. Now is up to Kenan to find out what happened with the help of the other Justice League.
Not bad as a whole.
Gene Luen Yang continues his story by technically creating the first team-up between the first Justice League and the Justice League of China. The characterization and continuity work nicely due that Yang implements accurate portrayals and logical interactions between the the different members of both teams. The contrast between how the two Batmen talk to each other to how the two Wonder Women talk to each other is funnily depicted and it was cool that the connection between the two Flashs is being addressed.
The plot itself gets the job done but is not particularly deep due that it tries to advance the story but nothing really important happens in it aside from Kenan finding an artifact in Lex Luthor's home and makes me believe that more content could have been included. It mostly seemed like an excuse to make these people interact.
Joe Lalich handles the art and is not great once again, at some points it looks solid but at others it just feels unpolished.
Decent overall but the next one better offer something better.
