Michael Cray will have to face one of the most dangerous killers in the world.
Both Oliver Queen and Michael are hunting each other and both will have to prove who is the best at what their do.
The story continues and while some things work, others don't.
Bryan Hill along with Warren Ellis deliver a new chapter where they explore more of Michael's status quo, his development as an assassin and his fight against Oliver Queen. Some of these aspects work due that we see more of the kind of world that Michael lives on along with the kind of people he has to interact with and most of them are pretty interesting by having unique personalities that complement Michael's nicely as well as the theme they're going for. The natural dialogue certainly contributes to all of this.
The problem, and this might be a bit of a personal issue, is that there wasn't much background about why Oliver became a psycho so quickly. I mean, there was some sort of explanation in the last issue but I don't think it was enough to justify such an abrupt change of character and you could say that "Oh, this is a different version!" but even then I believe that his motivations and psyche should have been better explored.
N. Steven Harris remains in art duties and his work is still decent with some sort of rough style that might look off at times but still tells the story effectively.
I think I still enjoyed this despite of some the problems, hope the next one presents a better portrayal of a classic DC hero.
