Some thoughts about Batman #35

Can Batman's fiancee face his former lover?

Catwoman and Talia's fight has just begun and both will have to prove that they're better than each other but not in the way they're expecting.

This wasn't really bad for once.

Tom King concludes this little storyarc by delivering character development between Selina and Talia. The fight scene between the two is engaging and shows interesting portrayals that reflect in the nature of a relationship with Batman in pretty obvious and logical ways which at the very least seems accurate and shows how self-aware Selina is.

Not to say that this issue is perfect since as usual, there are a few awkward lines here and there, particularly the exchange between Dick and Damian which King seems to be mocking a purposely created awkward line... without realizing that he creates tons of them every time.

Joelle Jones' artwork remains stunning with a beautiful choreographed fight scene and outstanding characters.

As a whole, I think this was at least readable. Doesn't really save the storyline though.
