Lois Lane will have to find her family in a doomed planet.
After arriving in Apokolips, the whole Kent family was separated and is up to Lois to find Clark and Jon but to do so, she might have to join their enemies first.
Well, this was an improvement over the last issue all right.
Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason continue their story about the arrival on Apokolips and it works much better than imagined. There's finally another Lois-centric issue and the writers pay a lot of respect to her in several ways, mind you, this is not so much focused on her usual skills but more about her strength of character due that she demonstrates how competent she can be at surviving in a a terrible world like this and the ending of it is pretty satisfying.
Other plot-points progress as well, I especially loved the scenes with Lex where his plans are starting to be revealed and they surprisingly involve his biggest rival which makes me intrigued about what's coming next. The plot offers much more content this time.
Ed Benes, Doug Mahnke and Jack Herbert share the pencils and while their styles are different from each other, they thankfully maintain a consistent tone during the story.
Solid stuff, the next one better arrive soon.
