Can Batman and Catwoman beat the most dangerous woman alive?
Bruce and Selina are being hunted by Talia Al Ghul and now they both will have to do their best to survive her test.
No, is not getting better.
Tom King offers a new installment full of the usual flaws. First of all, the dialogue is obnoxious which is due to the huge amount of unnatural lines (which OF COURSE include the dreaded "Bat, Cat" mentions) and insufferable repetition ("She's the ex") that have become a staple of King's work in a poor attempt of trying to sound distinctive and special which in reality it makes things all worse since all of these is done on purpose.
Worst of all, is that the story itself is nothing special either. Bruce and Selina having to face Bruce's... *sigh* "ex" before getting marry is just forced and the constant references to that fact in story makes it even worse. Also, should I really buy that Bruce and Selina are actually in love? Because the way they talk is not how normal human beings act in a relationship, is pretty cringey at times.
Joelle Jones' artwork remains as the best part of this arc thanks to her beautiful style that create gorgeous characters and settings.
Other than that, God, this needs to end already.
