Some thoughts about The Flash #35

Can The Flash save his loved ones?

Meena has returned and she is ready to take everything from Barry and that's not the only thing that he has to worry about.

This worked decently enough.

Joshua Williamson continues his story where he tries to explain Meena's motivations and return and to be honest, they're not that believable. The reveal about how Meena hates Barry now because he let her "die" is just not enough of a motivation for her to turn evil, especially because of how quick it was portrayed. This makes me feel like this change of character was created at the last second and wasn't the plan all along (despite that Meena's return was clearly telegraphed). I wish Williamson would have created a better reason for this.

About the story itself, is mostly set-up for events that are about to come like the arrival of a new villain and how the previous stories have affected both Wally and Iris. Interesting but light in content.

Pop Mhan's artwork is solid with a vibrant style and good character expressions.

Serviceable I guess but hope the next one is better.
