The men of Gotham are in danger.
A virus has been infecting only men and the people who care about them will have to save them.
Mixed thoughts about this one.
Julie and Shawna Benson bring a story that I find hard to believe that is being released today, one that touches about how extremism can occur in every side and it can be equally dangerous. Is about a group of women who is ready to kill the men of Gotham because they consider them toxic and oppressive and the Birds of Prey are decided to stop them by mentioning how there are actually good men here. Is pretty surprising since today you mostly usually see group of "menimists" who hate women being portrayed negatively so seeing this kind of take is a bit of a breath of fresh air.
HOWEVER, I would be lying if I said that I find any of this subtle. Just like writers who go to the extreme by portraying unbelievable misogynists when they try to make a point, the same is applied when writers go to the opposite direction when they portray extreme radical feminists/misandrists. Worse of all is how the theme of the story is beaten to death by constantly mentioning how there are actually good men which is something that we know, you don't need to keep repeating it.
Roge Antonio's artwork is really solid with a pretty clean style although the expressions can be a bit exaggerated at times.
Still not sure how I feel about this one but from a pure writing perspective I just don't find it good.
