Can the Green Lanterns save an entire race?
Both Simon and Jessica are having problem in their own planet but now they have bigger problems to care about since a group of aliens depend on them.
Holy crap, this is even better than the last one!
Tim Seeley ends this little arc in the most impressive way possible by demonstrating why both the protagonists are so special. The characterization is great due that both Simon and Jess get solid moments that go along with their personalities and backgrounds perfectly, Simon shows really sympathetic scenes where some of his particular healing abilities that were created by Geoff Johns are implemented in logical manners while Jess' strength of character is also really emphasized. All of this contrasts nicely with their current predicaments in their normal lives, about how no matter how powerful they are, they can't escape their reality.
And all of this is presented in a pretty bombastic manner by making every little scene bigger in scale thanks to the great dialogue, pacing and execution. Plus, there are event being developed along with the appearance of a classic Green Lantern villain that made me laugh quite a bit towards the end.
Ronan Cliquet handles the art and his work is really solid, being able to depict every scene from the script perfectly and showing a lot of detail for the characters and settings.
Great stuff, excited for the future.
