What's the mystery behind the Speed Force?
Barry is still dealing with the fact that he has to train a new era of Speedsters and trying to figure who is the new murderous one but this might be too much even for the Fastest Man Alive.
Yeah, I think this is starting to become more interesting.
Joshua Williamson brings a new chapter where he continues to develope all the ideas that he's creating for this book including the multiple speedsters being created, the Black Hole threat and the new antagonist Godspeed. There are a lot of good moments in terms of classic superheroics since the members of the cast fight together against an interesting enemy that is connected to their source of the their power. The execution of the concepts and interaction between the characters makes this pretty enjoyable.
The characterization is pretty strong with Barry still acting in a pretty likable and accurate manner while the rest of the cast have their own moments to show their own personality. Solid stuff here.
I have a few complaints though. Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato also utilized the idea of multiple Speedsters but they did it in a more creative way I believe by creating different effects for them like some being able to manipulate objects. I wish there was more variety in abilities.
I'm not exactly a fan of a character who is mostly created to become Barry's other love interest.
Neil Googe handles the artwork and is really good looking being able to depict the classic kinetic nature of the character perfectly along with beautiful and expressive characters.
Enjoyable, but I hope things start to become more diverse soon.
