Some thoughts about All-Star Batman #1

Can the Batman fight alongside his own enemies?

Two-Face has been planning something, something that not even his other side is aware of and is up to Bruce to try to find what's happening even if that means going against an horde of supervillains.

A new era is about to start and it seems once again pretty entertaining.

Scott Snyder returns to Batman this time focusing on the character he wanted to explore so much: Two-Face. The premise of the story makes a lot of sense by playing with the villain's classic schizophrenia and relationship with Bruce to create an interesting concept about a plan to take Batman down so huge that it will require both of them to find a solution for it.

The idea about multiple more obscure Batman villains like Killer Moth and Firefly coming after him is appreciated and the writer manages to use his usual cinematic action style to make every action scene engaging. The interactions between the protagonist and the villain is also quite entertaining and is certainly reminiscent of their own history.

John Romita Jr. handles the artwork here and his style is pretty similar to the one that Greg Capullo used for his previous work with Snyder which allows for a nice transition between titles. There are greatly depicted action scenes and expressive characters all around.

The second segment is focuses on both Bruce and Duke and how they need each other to become better while also exploring another mystery. Declan Shalvey is in charge of the art and is pretty solid with a pretty vibrant tone.

Solid overall, hope the story continues this way.
