Hal will need to meet with old enemies if he wants to learn what's happening.
Organic beings are turned into stone and all might be because of the Source Wall. Now, to know a way to stop it he will need to face Relic once again and also another person who is probably the culprit.
Oh yeah, this worked in several levels.
Robert Venditti continues the current direction of Green Lantern by focusing on how Hal is dealing with the fact that the Corps is gone and he needs to use all the skill he has at hand, no matter if he doesn't wear Krona's Glove. This allows for some pretty interesting character work and moments that show perfectly the kind of person that Hal is.
The rest of the cast also receive some pretty good scenes and this might be the most interesting supporting characters in a while from Virgo's loyalty towards Hal to Trapper lack of it but still shows some surprising actions to Darlene's desire of free will, etc. It's certainly an interesting set and constrast of personalities.
Plus, there are several sub-plots being developed and all of the seem intriguing so far.
Ethan Van Sciver handles the artwork this time and his work is pretty appropriate considering the history he has with the franchise. There beautiful and detailed scenarios with good looking and expressive characters.
Pretty good issue, one of the best in a while.
