Some thoughts about Justice League of America #13

Can Ryan Choi figure out what happened to Ray Palmer?

The Microverse is in danger and people inside it are getting desperate, their only hope is if The Atom finds the cause of their problems.

Well, this is still not particularly exciting.

Steve Orlando continues his heavily prepared story about the mystery of Ray Palmer and the Microverse by delivering a lot of plot-points about it. For one, is good that we're exploring more of the setting and how different people inside of it are reacting to their current situation, the sides are still not really clear while the nature of this world continues to be an enigman.

With that in mind, I feel like barely anything happened here. We know a bit more of this world but we got more questions than answers, in fact, not a lot was actually explained despite that some apparently major key players were introduced. I would say that most of the issue was spent on Ryan and Killer Frost's relationship but for someone who never cared about it like me, it means nothing. This is particularly underwhelming because of how long this story was teased.

Ivan Reis' artwork is gorgeous though, beautiful characters and a great storytelling that makes the plot very vibrant.

No feeling this but that's a familiar thing in this series.
