Some thoughts about Supergirl #10

The Phantom Zone is full of terrors.

Supergirl and Batgirl have been trapped in a Kriptonian prison for one of its worst residents and now they will have to find a way to escape no matter the cost.

Not a bad chapter but not particularly great either.

Steve Orlando continues his storyline about the team-up between Supergirl and Batgirl and in that regard is a decent work. The characterization is pretty solid due that the writer gets both character and how they should interact with each other showcasing a quite enjoyable fight focusing on them against the Kryptonian criminals.

There's also a decent amount of worldbuilding about the Phantom Zone which creates a much more complex scenario for the characters to explore. However, I don't feel like the plot progressed that much and the cliffhanger is not really exciting.

Brian Ching remains in art duties and at this point you should know he's not my favorite. The overall look lacks polish and he can create really awkward characters and scenarios.

We really need a new artist. Aside from that, serviceable enough.
